Ava Display is operated by Egosi OS LLC. The full terms of use govern; this page explains what they mean for a display deployment.
The governing document is the Egosi OS Terms of Use. Ava Display is provided by Egosi OS LLC under those terms, and where an organization signs its own agreement with us, that agreement governs its use and wins over anything here. This page explains the parts that matter to a display deployment; it does not replace or vary them.
Two things, deliberately separate. The adapter is a one-time hardware purchase, supplied and invoiced separately by the hardware supplier, and once bought it is yours. The Ava Display license is an annual service provided by Egosi OS LLC and covers signage, staff casting, emergency broadcast, schedules and fleet management.
The license is charged per adapter you hold, not per adapter that happens to be powered on. Move a screen between rooms, keep spares in a cupboard, or take a wing offline for the summer; what you are billed does not change and neither does your entitlement. Placement is yours to manage and we never bill on it.
You own the adapters outright. There is nothing to return at the end of a term, and no device stops working because a contract lapsed. If a license is not renewed, the service ends; the hardware remains your property.
Ava Display Edge is an optional on-premises server charged annually per building, provided by Egosi OS LLC.
Hardware maintenance is an optional per-device annual item provided by the hardware supplier, who supplies and warrants the adapter. The first year is covered by that warranty as sold; maintenance continues that cover and replacement of failed units after it. It is not required: because you own the adapters outright, you can decline it and simply buy a replacement adapter if one ever fails.
Neither item is required to run the product, and declining either costs you no entitlement.
Accounts inside a deployment belong to the organization, are created by its invitation, and carry only what the organization provides. The organization decides who holds which rights, including who may send an emergency broadcast. We do not grant rights inside your organization; your administrators do.
Emergency broadcast is a communication tool that takes priority on your screens. It is not a life-safety system, does not replace your alarm, fire, or emergency notification systems, and must not be relied on as the only means of alerting people in an emergency. Use it alongside the systems your building and your jurisdiction require.
Screens are yours to fill within the law. Do not use the platform to break the law or to harm others, do not attempt to reach another organization's information, and do not resell access without a written agreement with us.
You can stop at any time at the end of a license term. On request we return or delete your organization's data, as described in the privacy policy. You keep the hardware.
We update the platform continuously, including in response to what customers ask for. We aim for the service to be reliable and truthful about its own state, and statements about future capability describe direction rather than commitments.
