The same system, wherever the screens are.

Signage is mostly the same problem everywhere: a lot of screens, in places nobody is standing, that have to be showing the right thing without anyone checking. What differs is the content, and who notices when it goes blank.

Casting

Scan the screen. Present from your seat.

The screen at the front of a room is the one screen in a building that regularly stops a meeting: the cable does not fit, the adapter is missing, or a guest is being walked through joining the wifi while everybody waits.

A code and a QR, on the screen itself

Whoever is presenting scans the code on the screen and casts from where they are sitting. Nothing is installed, no cable changes hands, and the person running the room decides who gets it and for how long.

The same mechanism serves a boardroom and a classroom. In a meeting room the host hands the screen to a colleague or a visitor. In a classroom a teacher hands it to a student to show their work, and takes it back. One product, one behaviour, whichever building it is in.

The system behind the screens

The screens are the part you can see.

Ava Display is one surface of a larger platform. Most signage systems are a content manager with a media player attached: someone builds a slide, someone schedules it, and the screen plays it back. Ava works the other way round. She holds what your organisation actually knows, and the screens read from that.

Say it once, and it is everywhere it belongs

A closure, a shift change, a room move or a visitor arriving is a fact about your operation, not a slide. Tell Ava once and the lobby screens, the floor displays and the front desk all reflect it, because they are all reading the same thing rather than each holding their own copy.

That is also why the screens know what day it is. Shift patterns, term dates, bell schedules, holidays and the days that break them are not signage content someone remembers to update. They are what the place runs on, and the screens follow.

Casting, signage, announcements, bell awareness, emergency broadcast and fleet management are one system with one login and one bill. Nothing between them needs wiring together, because nothing between them was separate.

Who builds it

We have been putting communications into buildings since 1999.

Ava Display is built by Egosi OS LLC, by people who have been putting communications into buildings since 1999: one of the larger privately held internet providers of its era, an early hosted telephony and communications suite, and a decade running technology operations across more than a thousand sites for a Fortune 5 company.

That matters here for one reason. Screens in a building are an operations problem before they are a software problem, and the people who wrote this have been carrying pagers for buildings for a very long time.

We own the whole path

The hardware, the software on it, the servers it talks to and the network in between are all ours. When something breaks there is no vendor to escalate to and no support queue between you and the people who wrote it.
